This mini challenge is at Joystory where we are asked to post about children reading or being read to.

This picture is of my friend Julie and one of the girls we know in Honduras, Saritta.  Saritta was abandoned by her mom and left on the streets.  Julie is working with her here with reading and writing.

Honduras children have a special place in my heart.  Given the right tools, these kids are so willing to learn and incredibly bright.
