At our last Bookies meeting, we chose our August Book Club Read as well as our classic read for October. We always read a classic every October and choose the book in July to give people time to:
1. Find it in the format they like
2. Get through the book
Our choices are:
The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton for August (I have already read this and reviewed it)
and
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith as our classic read for October
Book Journey
