Good Morning! D
Central Minnesota has been kind to me these past few days and I have been able to get my lawn mowed, yard cleaned up, and yesterday I even cleaned out the garage while listening to…
Night Circus.
I know, I know… I am reading all banned books this week but my thoughts on this are – if they are saying this read is going to be as big as Harry Potter, already had the movie rights bought by the same company that made the Twilight movies…. certainly it will one day be banned/challenged as well right? 😛
We are sitting right in the middle of Banned Books Week and I have been thrilled to have so many Book Bloggers join me here sharing banned book reviews and thoughts. I hope you are able to take a few minutes and peek at some of the links I have been giving you since this last Saturday as Banned Books Week is an important week .
Each day since Saturday I have been giving a link with a clue letter for you to gather for the Banned Book Giveaway…. here is the Wednesday clue…

So how is Night Circus on audio?
I am still deciding, I am liking the story line but it is taking me awhile to get into Jim Dale’s narration. That’s sad as I love Jim Dale… but the tone, I dont know… its too early to tell. If all else fails, the book is right here on the table 😀
It sounds like you had quite a productive day. If you run out of things to do, head on over here.
We’re back in the monsoon season in northeastern PA. 😦 But, the weatherman says beginning Sun. we will have 7 whole days of sun and warm temperatures. Halleluyah! I might even get the whole yard mowed before it rains again, maybe even without getting stuck in the mud like I did the last time I mowed.
I like the way you think…that someday an awesome book will probably be banned!
I’m rereading The Handmaid’s Tale, which is banned; yesterday I finished Cat’s Eye, by the same author, and I don’t know if it was banned, but it’s Margaret Atwood. So maybe….
Anyway, it was awesome!
Like your new Facebook photo of you by a lake. Looks great!
Oh dear, I hope Night Circus gets better for you! It is hard to believe that Jim Dale could be off. Off to visit the links.
I’m reading Night Circus and now that I’ve started it I’m glad I went with print. The jumps between cities and years with each chapter are easier to follow when I can flip back a few pages. I’m loving the story btw. I stayed up too late last night reading it!
I’m surprised – I guess I’ve just come to assume that everything Jim Dale touches will be gold. 🙂 I look forward to your full review.
