Morning Meanderings… So What Is Up With Me?

Oh I know… I am so late these days and you may think I am losing my grip on the meandering.  I promise I will be back on track soon.  :D

My schedule lately has been a bit nuts and I am currently training at the office for someone to take my current position while at the same time I am morphing into a new position.  Basically I am juggling between the two and the time management skills are requiring a tune up to do so.

Soon this will all iron out and it is really an exciting time as I enter my new position.  My hours will mellow out again and I will hopefully not be so tired in the mornings that I sleep through the meandering time (uhhh….. like this morning), and run out the door to work barely even having time to sip a little coffee.

All really is well, in fact there really are some exciting things coming up that I will chat more on going into next week.  Let me leave you with this one word to ponder on:

Zumba.

Google it.

We will talk later.  :D

  1. LOL… I’ve seen it done and I have to wonder if I could ever learn all those moves! It looks complicated to me, but my friends just love it….

  2. I’ll have to check that out…

I’ve been “missing in action” for a couple of days, only doing the most basic things online…

I think I had food poisoning! But I seem to be gradually getting back to normal. I was able to actually go to the store this morning.

Why is it that when you need soft, soothing foods there are none in the house?

Now I’m going to curl up and read some more. Comfort zone….

  3. My daughters mother in law and I have discussed Zumba, but haven’t decided whether to do it or not. It does look fun. If we decided to do it, we might have a hard time finding a class near us, so might end up having to buy a few DVD’s.

  4. Pretty sure you’ve talked about Zumba before …

    • Yes! :D I did a review a while back on a book they had out and I was excited then about it but had no access to it in my area. The closest place to learn it was in Duluth and that is 2 1/2 hours from me.

      Until now……

  5. Zumba, mmmm, new to me, must investigate.

  6. Sounds like your schedule has been as crazy as mine! I haven’t posted anything in a few weeks (bad, I know)! I’ve heard good things about Zumba. I like anything that makes exercise FUN!

  7. I heard about Zumba a month or so ago. It certainly is my kind of workout…beats an hour on the treadmill everyday. :)
Hey, as far as you being “late” in your postings….we are in no rush, we are all patient people. :)

  8. One of my co-workers talked me into trying Zumba, so I’ll be going for my first time on Monday night. Hope it’s as fun as she makes it sound!

  9. I have a funny Zumba story, although you won’t get the visual of an in person telling.

Picture four co-workers on a walk, and one of them trying to explain Zumba to me. She finally pulls a Charo move in the parking lot, shaking her whole body. And then we look up to see a guy none of us knew sitting in his car laughing hysterically. She was mortified.

    • LOL Jill – I can picture that. I am recruiting friends and trying to explain it, then I went on line and watched a demo and thought… oh crap…. they are going to kill me. :D
